Haldol is utilized for treating schizophrenia. It is also used to control symptoms linked to Tourette disorder. Haldol is an antipsychotic agent.

STORAGE
Store Haldol at room temperature, between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C). Store far from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store inside the bathroom. Do not freeze. Keep Haldol from the reach of children and away from pets.

Check along with your doctor if these most frequent unwanted effects persist or become bothersome:
Constipation; diarrhea; dizziness; drowsiness; dry mouth; headache; loss in appetite; nausea; restlessness; stomach upset; sleep disorders.
Seek medical assistance without delay if any of these severe unwanted side effects occur:
Severe allergies (rash; hives; itching; breathlessness; tightness inside the chest; swelling in the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); blurred vision or another vision changes; confusion; dark urine; decreased sexual ability; decreased urination; difficulty speaking or swallowing; drooling; enlarged breasts; excessive or unusual sweating; fainting; fast or irregular heartbeat; fever, chills, or persistent sore throat; hallucinations; mental or mood changes (eg, abnormal thinking, agitation, anxiety, depression); missed menstrual period and other menstrual changes; nipple discharge; prolonged, painful erection; rigid or stiff muscles; seizures; severe or persistent dizziness, headache, or vomiting; shuffling walk; uncontrolled muscle movements (eg, in the arms, legs, tongue, jaw, cheeks; tremors; twitching); yellowing in the skin or eyes.
