STORAGE

Avoid getting Aldara inside your eyes, mouth, and nose, or in your lips. Do not position the cream in your rectum, vagina, or urethra. If it does get into some of these areas, rinse with water. Do not use Aldara on sunburned, windburned, dry, chapped, irritated, or broken skin.
Avoid using other medications around the areas you treat with Aldara unless your medical professional lets you know to.
Avoid experience of sunlight or tanning beds. Aldara can make you sunburn more easily. Wear protective clothing and rehearse sunscreen (SPF 30 or maybe more) when you happen to be outdoors.
Avoid having unprotected sex. Imiquimod is not really a cure for genital warts, and this will not drive back sexually transmitted diseases including chlamydia, gonorrhea, herpes, HIV, syphilis, and trichomoniasis. Talk with your physician about safe approaches to prevent transmission during sex.
