INDICATIONS
Erythromycin is used for treating infections caused by certain bacteria. It is also used to prevent bacterial endocarditis and attacks of rheumatic fever. Erythromycin is a macrolide antibiotic. It works by slowing the expansion of, or sometimes killing, sensitive bacteria by reducing producing important proteins needed by the bacteria to live.
INSTRUCTIONS
Use Erythromycin as directed through your doctor.

STORAGE
Store Erythromycin at room temperature, below 86 degrees F (30 degrees C). Store away from heat, moisture, and lightweight. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep tightly closed. Keep Erythromycin from the reach of youngsters and far from pets.
All medicines could potentially cause unwanted effects, but some people have no, or minor, unwanted side effects.
Check using your doctor if all of these most frequent unwanted side effects persist or become bothersome:
Diarrhea; loss of appetite; nausea; stomach pain; vomiting.
Seek medical assistance without delay if some of these severe unwanted effects occur:
Severe hypersensitive reactions (rash; hives; itching; lack of breath; tightness inside chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); bloody stools; decreased hearing or the loss of hearing; irregular heartbeat; muscle weakness; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin; seizures; severe diarrhea; severe stomach pain or cramps; symptoms of liver problems (eg, yellowing of the skin or eyes, pale stools, severe or persistent nausea, vomiting, decrease of appetite, or dark urine).
