INDICATIONS
Calan is used for treating supraventricular tachycardia, a rhythm disturbance with the heart. It is also used for controlling pulse rate a reaction to other rhythm disturbances, specifically atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter. Calan is a calcium channel blocker. It works by slowing the electrical conduction inside heart, slowing heartbeat, and/or normalizing heart rhythm.

STORAGE
Store Calan at room temperature, between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C). Store far from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store inside bathroom. Keep Calan out with the reach of youngsters and faraway from pets.

Severe hypersensitive reactions (rash; hives; itching; breathlessness; tightness in the chest; swelling with the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); chest pain; fainting; lightheadedness, particularly when standing; severe dizziness; difficulty breathing; swelling from the feet or hands; signs and symptoms of liver problems (eg, yellowing with the skin or eyes, dark urine, pale stools, severe or persistent stomach pain, fever, general sense of being unwell); unusually fast, slow, or irregular heartbeat.
