INDICATIONS
Cardizem is employed for treating supraventricular tachycardia, a rhythm disturbance from the heart. It is also employed for controlling heartrate reply to other rhythm disturbances, specifically, atrial fibrillation and flutter. Cardizem is really a calcium channel blocker. It works by slowing the electrical conduction inside heart, slowing heartbeat, and/or normalizing heart rhythm.
