INDICATIONS
Aricept is employed for treating dementia (eg, impairment of memory, judgment, and abstract thinking; changes in personality) in patients with Alzheimer disease. Aricept is often a cholinesterase inhibitor. It works by helping the amount of a certain substance (acetylcholine) within the brain, which might help in reducing the signs of dementia in patients with Alzheimer disease.
INSTRUCTIONS
Use Aricept as directed through your doctor.

STORAGE
Store Aricept at room temperature, between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C). Store far from heat, moisture, and lightweight. Do not store inside the bathroom. Keep Aricept out from the reach of youngsters and away from pets.

Severe hypersensitive reactions (rash; hives; itching; breathlessness; tightness in the chest; swelling in the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); bloody or black, tarry stools; chest pain; decreased urination; depression; fainting; fever; seizures; severe dizziness or headache; lack of breath; slow or irregular heartbeat; swelling in the hands, ankles, or feet; unusual bruising; tremor.
